Forgotten Lives

From initial concept to a symbol of hope. See how we transformed a mission of patient advocacy into a powerful brand identity that shines a light on those still vulnerable to airborne infections.

The Idea

The Brief

Forgotten Lives, a patient advocacy group for those affected by COVID-19, required a professional visual identity to engage high-level influencers and MPs. The goal was to build credibility, raise awareness of the challenges facing the immunocompromised, and advocate for better preventative treatments.

The Concepts

The process began with three distinct conceptual sketches. After presenting these to the client, the "shield" concept was chosen for its immediate sense of protection and strength, wrapping around the brand to symbolise safety.

The Solution

The Logo & Brand Identity

Moving away from traditional clinical pastels, I chose a vibrant, hopeful palette to act as a "beacon of light" for patients. I also developed a brand identity and a collection of digital assets to help launch the brand. ADD MORE CONTENT!!!!

The Brand Guidelines

I created a comprehensive brand toolkit for Forgotten Lives to ensure a seamless launch.

By aligning the messaging, values, colours, fonts, imagery, and layout, I provided a vital reference aid for everyone involved in the project. This ensured a seamless customer journey where every touchpoint feels familiar. This level of consistency is key: it builds immediate trust and ensures the audience understands the message without any distractions. Therefore, turning a collection of assets into a clear, unified identity.

Social Media Design

To back the campaign with accredited authority, I collaborated with medical experts to design a suite of data-driven X (formally known as Twitter) infographics that translated complex statistics into clear, impactful visuals.

The Impact

The Impact

The new branding and infographics broke down medical barriers, making data accessible for patients and professionals alike. This visual authority enabled serious conversations with parliamentary decision makers and medical experts. By providing a consistent, credible toolkit, the brand successfully highlighted the urgent need for preventative treatments like Evusheld and Pemgarda.
